Set up the Kive MCP connector in Claude so Claude can browse your Kive workspace and create images and videos from chat. For what the connector can do and how credits work, see the MCP overview.

Before you start

Make sure you have:
  • A Kive account with access to the workspace you want to use
  • Available Kive credits for image generation, video generation, or image edits
  • Access to Claude custom connectors
  • Permission to authorize Claude to use your Kive account

Connect Claude to Kive

1

Open MCP settings

In Kive, open your avatar menu and go to SettingsMCP.
2

Start the connection

Under Apps, find the Claude row and click Connect. Kive opens Claude’s custom connector setup with the Kive connector details filled in.
3

Authorize Kive

Follow the prompts to authorize Claude. Kive will ask you to allow access before Claude can use your workspace.
4

Confirm it works

In Claude, ask: Show my Kive workspaces. Claude should list the Kive workspaces your account can access.

Try these prompts

  • Show my Kive workspaces
  • Find my recent generated videos in Kive
  • Show the products in my Kive workspace
  • Generate one product image for this product using a clean studio
  • Make a product video with audio on using this product and a slow zoom video preset
  • Create four product video variations using different video presets
  • Edit this image so the product is on a marble surface

Managing the connection

You can manage the connection from Claude’s connector settings, or revoke it from Kive under SettingsMCPApps. See Manage and troubleshoot connections for details.
