Kive’s MCP server works with any tool that supports custom MCP connectors. This page covers the generic connect flow. For a Claude-specific walkthrough, see Connect Kive to Claude.

You can also copy this URL from inside Kive under SettingsMCPCustom connections.

Generic connect flow

1

Copy the server URL

In Kive, open your avatar menu and go to SettingsMCP. Under Custom connections, copy the server URL.
2

Add a custom MCP connector in your client

In your MCP client (ChatGPT, Cursor, Figma, Notion, Zapier, n8n, and so on), open its MCP or connector settings and add a new custom connector using the Kive server URL you copied.
3

Authorize Kive

Your client will redirect you to Kive to sign in and approve access to your workspace. Follow the prompts to authorize.
4

Confirm it works

Back in the client, ask something like “Show my Kive workspaces”. The client should list the Kive workspaces your account can access.

Per-tool guides

Kive publishes step-by-step guides for 15+ specific clients — including ChatGPT, Cursor, Figma, Notion, Zapier, n8n, Lovable, Windsurf, v0, Replit, and Bolt. Some guides (like Cursor’s) include a one-click install button.
