How it works

Creativity setting

The creativity setting controls how much freedom the AI has when generating new details during upscaling:
  • Low (default) — Makes minimal changes while increasing resolution. This is the preferred option when you want to preserve the original image as closely as possible while gaining higher resolution.
  • High — Gives the AI more freedom to interpret and enhance details. This can produce sharper, more detailed results but may introduce subtle changes to the original content.
There is no “one size fits all” option. If you notice artifacts or unexpected results with one setting, try the other — sometimes switching creativity levels resolves quality issues for specific images.

Steps

Enhance image resolution in six simple steps:
  1. Open your image — Navigate to the image in your Library or board and click to open it in detail view
  2. Access the tool — Click the Upscale icon in the vertical toolbar, or access via the Edit section
  3. Choose resolution — Select between 16MP (10 credits) or 24MP (20 credits) based on your quality needs and budget
  4. Select creativity — Choose Low to preserve the original as closely as possible, or High for more AI-enhanced detail
