Manage your workspace’s subscription, payment methods, and invoices from one place. Each workspace has its own billing, so budgets stay separate.
Kive currently accepts credit card payments only. PayPal and bank transfer are not available, but we’re working on adding more payment methods in the future.

Manage billing

Access your billing portal to manage payments and subscriptions:
1

Open billing

Go to SettingsSubscription
2

Access settings

Click the “…” menu next to your plan
3

View details

Select Manage Billing & Invoices
From the billing portal, you can update payment methods, change billing emails, view payment history, and download invoices. To add your company name or VAT number to invoices, update your billing details in this same portal.
The billing portal shows payment history and invoices, not credit spend history. To view your current credit balance, go to SettingsSubscription within the app.
To purchase credits or change your plan, go to SettingsSubscription within the app. Each workspace has separate billing settings.

View invoices

Access invoices via SettingsSubscription → ”…” → Manage Billing & Invoices. Download any invoice from your payment history.

Billing cycles

Subscriptions bill monthly or annually in advance. Credits and storage activate immediately upon payment. Check SettingsSubscription to see your next renewal date.
Prices shown on kive.ai/pricing do not include taxes. VAT and other taxes are added based on your location at checkout. For example, UK users see 20% VAT added.

Getting more credits

Kive only distributes credits through subscriptions—there is no pay-as-you-go credit bundle. If you need more credits, you must upgrade to a higher tier plan. When you upgrade, you instantly receive the full credit allowance of your new plan on top of your existing unused credits. Your billing cycle resets to start from the upgrade date. Example: If you have 30 credits remaining and upgrade to a 2,000 credits/month plan, you instantly receive 2,030 credits. Your next billing date is one month from the upgrade. If you only need a temporary credit increase, you can upgrade to a higher plan and then downgrade back to your original plan after using the credits you need.

Downgrades

When you downgrade to a lower tier plan, credits above your new plan’s monthly limit will be lost. Example: If you have 11,000 credits and downgrade from Pro (100/5,000credits)toBasic(100/5,000 credits) to Basic (40/2,000 credits), you will only keep up to 4,000 credits (2x the new plan limit). You are not charged the lower plan price until your current billing cycle ends. At that point, you are charged the downgraded plan price and receive that plan’s credit allocation.

Credit carry-over

Unused credits carry over to the next billing cycle, up to your monthly credit limit. When your billing cycle renews, your monthly credit allocation is added to any remaining credits, capped at your plan’s monthly limit. This allows you to accumulate up to 2x your monthly credits if you don’t use them all. All credits you receive have a one-month validity period from when they are granted. Regardless of whether you upgrade, downgrade, or change plans, your existing credits remain available until they expire.

Cancel your subscription

To cancel your subscription:
1

Open subscription settings

Go to SettingsSubscription
2

Access menu

Click the ”…” menu next to your plan
3

Cancel

Select Cancel subscription
Your subscription remains active until the end of your billing period. You retain full access to all features until the end date.
If you delete your workspace, the subscription tied to it will also be cancelled. However, if you delete your personal account and the workspace has other members, the workspace and its subscription will remain active.
If you’re still being charged after canceling, verify your cancellation was completed in SettingsSubscription. If you canceled after your billing date, our payment processor may retry any outstanding failed payments even after cancellation.

Refunds

Refunds are not provided for:
  • Subscriptions that auto-renewed (cancel before your renewal date to avoid charges)
  • Credits used on generations that didn’t meet expectations — while our system automatically refunds failed generations, AI output is inherently unpredictable
Refunds may be provided for:
  • Technical failures where you were unable to use the platform
  • Duplicate or accidental charges
Contact support if you believe you qualify for a refund.
