Use the layer editor to adjust an Agent image without starting over. Kive detects objects as separate layers, so you can move, resize, rotate, or remove them while keeping the rest of the image intact. You can also import a logo, label, graphic, or other artwork and blend it into the image.
This feature is rolling out gradually. You’ll see Edit on supported generated images when your workspace has access.

Before you start

Open an Agent task with a generated image. Each time you click Apply, the edit costs 10 credits.

Edit layers

Use the layer editor to adjust detected objects or add your own artwork. Your changes stay pending until you click Apply.

Move or remove an object

Select a detected object when you want to reposition, resize, or remove it. Kive keeps the rest of the image intact while you work with that layer.
  1. Hover over a generated image and click Edit (the pencil icon). On smaller image tiles, open the image menu and click Edit.
  2. Wait while Kive detects the image layers. Objects appear in the Layers panel.
  3. Choose a layer from the panel. The matching object becomes active on the image.
  4. Drag the selected object to move it. Use its handles to resize or rotate it.
  5. Press Delete or Backspace to remove the selected object. Choose its crossed-out layer to restore it before applying.
  6. Click Apply to generate a result. The 10-credit charge covers every pending change.
  7. Use the version thumbnails to compare the original with your edited results.
  8. Choose the result you want, then click Accept to save it and close the editor.
Before applying, click Undo to clear your pending changes. Click Close to leave the editor without saving.

Import an image

Use Import to place a logo, label, graphic, or other artwork into the image. When you apply the edit, Kive blends the artwork into the surface. It adjusts the lighting, shadows, texture, folds, wrinkles, seams, and curves while keeping the artwork recognizable.
  1. Open the layer editor, then click Import.
  2. Choose a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image smaller than 25 MB.
  3. Drag the imported image into position. Use its handles to resize or rotate it.
  4. Click Apply to generate a blended result.
  5. Compare the result with the original, then click Accept to save it.
To choose a different image before applying, click Import again. To discard it, select the imported layer and click Remove layer.
If Kive creates a result, closing the editor without clicking Accept doesn’t restore the 10 credits. If the edit fails, Kive refunds them automatically.

Send a layer to the prompt

Use Send to prompt when you want Agent to change an object’s appearance instead of moving or removing it. Hover over its row in the Layers panel, then click Send to prompt. Kive adds a chip for the selected layer and attaches the current image. Describe the change after the chip—for example, “make it silver”—then send the prompt.

Tips

Tip: If an object is missing, click Re-detect layers in the Layers panel. Another pass may find different objects. Tip: Make one focused change at a time when object boundaries overlap or the subject blends into the background.
