Kive vs Botika, service or system

Botika sells finished fashion photos with humans in the loop. Kive sells the system that makes them. The choice is about who does the fixing.

Who fixes the imperfect image

Botika reads like a production house that industrialised itself: pick from its library of ready AI models, generate on-model photos from garment shots at about one credit per photo, and – on Pro and Advanced yearly plans – send imperfect results back to human retouchers, two or three rounds per photo with 48-hour or 1-day turnaround. Lite starts at $18 a month billed annually ($22 monthly) for 240 credits a year; Pro at $29 ($35 monthly) adds 2K and retouching; Advanced at $192 ($230 monthly) carries 2,400 credits and 4K (botika.com/pricing, August 2026).

Kive’s answer to the same imperfect image is tooling, not people: a near-good result gets repaired in place – background swapped, details edited, resolution upscaled – and the iteration loop is yours, priced in credits rather than counted rounds. Character models and saved garment products anchor every generation, and the same library feeds campaign scenes and video, not just catalog shots. Basic is $20 a month ($15 billed annually) for about 100 generations (kive.ai/pricing, August 2026).

Neither model is wrong. A lean brand with no creative capacity may genuinely want Botika’s counted rounds and delivery windows. A team with any creative capacity usually moves faster iterating itself – and keeps the on-model shots in the same system that makes everything else.

Choose Kive when

  • Your team iterates: fixing a near-good image in place beats waiting on a counted retouch round.
  • The model should be yours – a trained character reused across campaigns, not picked from a shared library.
  • On-model shots are one output of a bigger visual system: packshots, scenes, and video from the same assets.

Choose Botika when

  • Photos are a delivery, not a craft – finished, retouched images arriving on schedule matter most.
  • Nobody on the team wants to operate a tool; counted rounds with 48-hour turnaround are the point.
  • Your need maps to its resolution ladder: HD listings on Lite, 2K product pages on Pro, 4K campaigns on Advanced.
