# Stores

> Add your online store so Kive reads its products, images and brand copy, ready to import and use in the Agent and Ideas

Stores shows what your online store says about your brand. Add your store's address and Kive reads the site for you: your key products, the photos it uses (Looks), a short brand summary, your product lines and your brand's attributes. From there you can import products, save photos as attachments, or take any image straight into the Agent or Ideas.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Kive reads each store again about once a week while your workspace is in use, so the page keeps up with your site without you doing anything.

## Before you start

* Access to a Kive workspace
* The address of your online store (for example, `yourbrand.com`)

## Steps

**1. Add your store**

Go to **Organize → Stores** and click **Add store**. Type your store's address and click **Add store**

**2. Wait for the first read**

Kive reads your site in stages: **Waiting to start**, **Reading your homepage**, then **Writing your brand profile**. Each section fills in as soon as its part is ready, and the first read takes a few minutes

**3. Import your products**

Under **Key products**, click **Import all**, or click **Select**, pick the products you want and click **Import**. Imported products appear in **Organize → Products**, ready to use as product models

**4. Use your store's images**

Open the menu on any product or Look to **Use in agent** or **Explore ideas**. On a Look you can also **Save as attachment**, or click **Select** to save several at once

**5. Review your brand profile (Optional)**

Check the **Brand summary**, **Product lines and categories** and **Attributes**, and edit them if something is off

## Tips

**Several stores:** You can add more than one store. The main store has a star and comes first; to change it, open another store's menu and choose **Set as main store**.

**Refetch a section:** Click **Refetch** next to **Key products** or **Looks from your store** to read that section again. For Looks, you can add a prompt (for example, "Take the photos from the FW26 lookbook page") and choose whether the new Looks replace the current ones or are added to them.

**Shopify stores:** If your store runs on Shopify, a **Connect to Shopify** button appears on the store. See [Connect your Shopify store](https://kive.ai/docs/integrations/shopify.md).

**Who can do what:** Anyone who can generate images can add a store. Admins and members can remove a store or change the main store. Only admins can edit the brand profile or refetch a section.

## Common issues

**Couldn't read this store:** Check the address and click **Try again**. Some sites block automated visits, in which case Kive cannot read them.

**Edit button is locked:** Only workspace admins can change a store's brand profile. Ask an admin to make the change.

**Removed a store by mistake:** Add it again from **Add store**. Images you saved as attachments are kept when a store is removed.
