We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our small team and make Kive an indispensable tool for every creative in the world. We care deeply about user experience and ease of use, and put significant focus on top-notch UI and interactions. We had enough of dealing with slow and clunky tools. For this, we’re looking for designers who have experience designing digital products and like to work closely with engineers from ideation to release, enhancing existing features and coming up with entirely new creative ways to make our users more productive.

In this role you will
Work in close collaboration with other engineers and designers.
Co-own the product. Have high autonomy, and take responsibility where you see the need. Make yourself indispensable to the team.
Work on a product for creatives, by creatives. We’re building the product we wish we had as creatives, enhancing the creative process with powerful, intuitive tools. You have strong instincts for what other creatives need, but will also support decision-making with data.
Champion user needs. Utilize insights to advocate for user-centered design decisions, ensuring that every feature not only meets aesthetic standards but also thoroughly addresses user requirements.
Innovate and iterate. We are building something new, which takes innovation and experimentation, but we’re also iterating and improving existing features. You’ll get to both try bold new ideas, and refine & optimise the ones that work and are due for a second iteration. Listen to user feedback, work with an engineer together to come up with improvements and ship them.
Maintain Brand Consistency. Be responsible for upholding Kive's brand integrity across all products and materials. You'll ensure that all visual elements align with high design standards and provide a seamless user experience.

You’re product and UX-minded. You have a sense for great user experience and feel when something is off. You care deeply about efficient product flows and how the things you build make people feel. You enjoy thinking about brand personality, but put user experience before brand expression.
You’re a product and design enthusiast. You’re curious about new products and often try things out before your friends do. You take note when you find interesting design solutions in the wild.
You have experience working with digital interfaces. You enjoy using Framer or Figma in your day-to-day work.
You’re productive, create quality design and motivated to join a start-up. We release updates to production every day. You can break down big projects in small deliverables. You care about the outcome and take a pragmatic approach to deliver it. You value feedback, but don’t need to be told what to do, and are proactive picking up work yourself.
